Installation Technician I

This position requires the employee to perform installations on-site with level II or III supervision, but cannot run independent Projects. In this position, personnel will continue to build their skill set while contributing to company work-related tasks. You will also be eligible to attend evening apprenticeship classes. The work location will vary depending on the project but it will normally be a new or heavy renovation construction site with some occupied building work.

Interpersonal Skills: Willingness to take direction and retain the knowledge gained. Tactful and mature demeanor including the ability to work well in a team environment.

Technical: High School diploma or equivalent. Possess an understanding of fire alarm systems installation with 1-year experience. Similar trade experience may be accepted. NICET certification is not required.

General: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must pass a background check and drug test. Be able to safely perform physically including heavy lifting 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating power drills/saws. Must be able to pass state and federal background check (criminal record or federal watch lists). Must be eligible for US employment. Be able to work from elevated heights.
